Recovery Support Specialist - Day Shift

Recovery Centers of America at Danvers is looking for day Recovery Support Specialists to join our team. We are currently hiring for full time and part time employees.

Evening Shift: 7AM- 3:30PM, including every other weekend.

Pay: $18/ hour

As a RSS, you will…

• Monitor patient activities and provide safety checks throughout shift.
• Complete documentation.
• Participate in direct patient care, ensuring patient safety and interacting therapeutically.
• Assist in the activities of patients daily schedules.
• Partner with nursing and clinical staff.
• Provide guidance on the 12-Steps and how they apply to the recovery process.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience of 1 year working in substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with all technology hardware, systems and tools required to perform duties; training will be provided as needed.
• Familiarity with behavior modification and 12-step modality.
• Ability to perform, document, and report patient vital signs.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record (as applicable).

A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than where they were treated within a year after treatment.
