Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our construction business . As a foreman at a jobsite here in texas The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks with precision and safety. The Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber will contribute to various construction site activities, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing projects accurately
• Perform welding and mechanical tasks related to plumbing systems as needed
• Conduct remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing plumbing infrastructure
• Use construction skills such as carpentry, remodeling, and maintenance person experience to support project needs
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move materials and equipment around the job site
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including HVAC integration when applicable
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or certification required
• Proven experience in construction plumbing, field service, or related roles within the construction industry
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and schematics reading
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and general construction practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
• Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
• Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of remodeling, maintenance tasks, and general carpentry skills is preferred
• Valid driver's license for commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
