Forklift Operator Loader

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Forklift Operator Loader to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties

• Safely operate forklifts, Rider pallet jacks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment before use to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards
• accurately pick orders in accordance with shipping and receiving protocols
• Assist with order picking
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate movement of goods, prioritize tasks, and optimize workflow

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of equipment operation including forklifts, and pallet jacks
• Familiarity with warehouse management order picking processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment

Pay: $15.50 per hour
