Bartender

Overview
Looking for friendly bartender to serve a variety of beverages, engage with diverse clientele, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere at local dive bar in downtown Bremerton.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve patrons promptly.
• Assist in restocking supplies during slow times.

Requirements

• Current MAST certification.
• Current Food Handlers Card
• experience in bartending.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Dependable and honest

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
