This energetic position involves meticulous surface preparation, sanding, masking, and ensuring all vehicles meet our high standards for quality and appearance. Responsibilities:

• Sand, clean, degrease, and prepare vehicle surfaces using hand and power tools
• Remove rust and old paint as needed
• Mask and tape off all non-paint areas to protect from overspray
• Apply primer to repaired or new panels
• Perform guide coating, block sanding, and surface correction to ensure a smooth finish
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of paint booths and prep areas
• Conduct final inspections to ensure vehicles are fully paint-ready
• Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to apply primer and paint prep materials accurately.
• Support the auto body refinish team with additional tasks such as buffing, detailing, or minor repairs to streamline workflow

Skills

• Previous dealership experience or background in auto body repair highly preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques necessary for vehicle prep tasks
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto painting techniques including airless spray systems, and buffing methods
• Familiarity with auto estimating procedures and customer service principles beneficial for collaborative work environment.

Pay: $ $1,000.00 per week
