Responsibilities

You'll work on a mix of:

• Access control, video surveillance, intercom, structured cabling
• Fire alarm device work, troubleshooting, and assistance with inspections (based on experience)
• Service calls and small installs (with larger projects available for the right tech)

Typical day includes:

• Diagnose problems, fix it right the first time
• Document clearly (photos, notes, as-builts when needed)
• Coordinate with the office for parts and scheduling support
• Communicate professionally with property managers and superintendents

What we're looking for

Must-have

• 2+ years in low voltage (service or install)
• Comfortable with ladders, lifts, and basic hand/power tools
• Clean wiring habits + labeling mindset
• Valid driver's license

Nice-to-have (we pay more for these)

• Fire alarm experience (service/inspection exposure a plus)
• NICET (any level) or willingness to pursue (we pay for it)
• Access control platforms and/or camera/VMS familiarity
• Ability to lead small jobs or run service independently

Pay & perks (what makes this different)

• $27–$40/hr depending on experience (higher for strong service + fire experience)
• Overtime paid (1.5x after 40)
• Company vehicle + gas card.

• Tools provided + annual tool refresh
• Paid training + manufacturer certs + NICET support
