Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Program Director to lead and oversee our mental health services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving mental health outcomes. This role involves developing program strategies, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care tailored to diverse client needs. The Program Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our mental health initiatives, fostering a supportive environment, and integrating innovative therapeutic approaches such as art therapy and gender issues counseling.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate mental health programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Supervise clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate training sessions on specialized topics such as psychopharmacology, art therapy techniques, and gender issues counseling.
  • Establish partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to expand service reach.
  • Monitor program outcomes through data collection and analysis to improve service quality and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
  • Advocate for clients' mental health needs within the organization and the broader community.
  • Lead crisis intervention efforts when necessary, providing guidance to staff on complex cases.

Experience

  • Proven experience in mental health program management or clinical leadership roles.
  • Strong background in clinical psychology, social work, or related fields with licensure or certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles relevant to mental health treatment planning.
  • Experience counseling on gender issues and working with diverse populations is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing budgets, compliance requirements, and program development initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives while leading innovative mental health programs in a supportive environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
