We are looking to hire a dental assistant who is nitrous certified with at least 2 years of experience in our small, privately owned practice. We have multiple benefits and competitive pay including monthly bonus system and performance based raises. Starting pay negotiable based on experience. We are a fast paced, busy, low stress, family oriented team looking for someone who is team oriented. Willing to train the right candidate but must be nitrous certified.

Office hours are 7 am to 4:30pm with lunch from 12-1.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during complex dental procedures including crowns, root canals, implants, restorations, dentures, extractions, etc.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Record patient information and medical history
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment
- Experience with Open Dental or other electronic records software is a plus

-Nitrous certified

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team/family environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
