As we continue to scale, we are building a structured, compliant, and people-first HR function. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist who is eager to grow into an HR Manager role and take ownership of HR operations as the company expands.

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will manage day-to-day human resources functions while working closely with leadership to help build, formalize, and scale HR processes across the organization.

This role is ideal for a strong HR Generalist who has mastered core HR responsibilities and is ready to step into a leadership role over time. The selected candidate will receive mentorship, increasing responsibility, and a clear path toward promotion to HR Manager based on performance and company growth.

Career Growth Path

This position is intentionally designed as a promotion-track role:

  • Phase 1 (HR Generalist): Own daily HR operations, compliance, and employee support
  • Phase 2 (Senior HR Generalist): Lead initiatives, policy development, and cross-brand alignment
  • Phase 3 (HR Manager): Manage HR strategy, supervise staff/vendors, and partner with executive leadership

Progression is expected within 12–24 months, depending on performance and organizational needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesCore HR Functions

  • Administer full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and coordination with PEO providers
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (Florida), and local labor laws
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and SOPs
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and documentation
  • Track certifications, training, and compliance requirements

People Operations & Development

  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes
  • Assist with performance management systems and review cycles
  • Partner with leadership on employee development, coaching, and corrective action plans
  • Help build a strong internal culture focused on accountability and reliability

Leadership & Growth Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in HR processes and recommend improvements
  • Assist in creating scalable HR infrastructure for a multi-entity organization
  • Support HR reporting, metrics, and workforce planning
  • Prepare to take ownership of HR strategy as the company grows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience working with PEOs, payroll platforms, and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism

Preferred:

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience in multi-location or multi-entity organizations
