IT Support Specialist

Qualifications and Skills

• Troubleshooting/maintaining/implementing workstations, network, and servers
• Routers/WAPs/Switches (WatchGuard, Netgear, Ubiquiti, Aruba)
• Microsoft 365 Partner Administration and Use
• Cybersecurity understanding and knowledge
• Ability to manage tickets using ConnectWise PSA and ASIO
• Fluency in performing hardware, software, networking troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Desktop support and implementation for Windows 10 and up, Mac OSX
• Working knowledge of VPN, VLAN, firewalls, security, and network
• Windows servers (installation/maintenance experience a plus), including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are REQUIRED
• Excellent communication and follow up skills (both verbally and written) is REQUIRED
• A valid New Jersey driver's license and a reliable car is REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Efficiently troubleshoot issues and aid clients with incoming requests, examples being:

• workstations, servers, printers, email, backup
• networking infrastructure (routers, WAPs, switches, etc.)
• cybersecurity issues
• learn/manage/excel with client Microsoft 365 environments and apply best security practices
• anage tickets, configurations and client records using ConnectWise PSA and ASIO
• occasional travel to client sites within a 20-30-mile radius (with reimbursement)
• learn software/hardware used and supported by our company and clients
