We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and is committed to accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items safely and securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Involves regular Lifting of items ranging from light to moderate weight.
Qualifications:
Experience in order picking and packing preferred. Ability to read and interpret order details accurately. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Capacity for Lifting items up to 30 lbs. Understanding of warehouse logistics and fulfillment processes is a plus. Commitment to following safety protocols and working efficiently.
