We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our bustling logistics facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include picking products from inventory and then carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they match order specifications.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep workstations clean and organized.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of and adherence to Safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for system updates.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends if required.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
Physical Demands:
This role involves active work, including constant standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Significant Lifting is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally more. Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may experience temperature fluctuations. Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE, is essential.
