Job Summary:
Join our team in Sacramento, California, as an Inventory Clerk and play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual responsible for managing and tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies. Your work will be fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. A commitment to precision and efficiency is key in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Receive and process returned goods, updating inventory accordingly.
  • Assist in the organization and layout of warehouse storage areas.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Provide reports on inventory status and discrepancies.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with WMS or other inventory tracking software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform light lifting, up to 25 lbs.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics best practices.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and standing/walking for extended periods.
