We are seeking reliable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is paramount. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. This role demands physical stamina and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical condition, able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for the duration of the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual.
