Join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Forklift Operator. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse facility. This role is critical to our supply chain, ensuring the timely and accurate handling of inventory. We are committed to a high standard of Safety and expect all employees to adhere strictly to our protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment with precision.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locations.
- Accurately record material movements and forklift usage.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and team projects as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks, up to 60 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety-toed footwear.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to Safety.
