Join our fast-paced logistics operations as an Order Picker in San Jose, California! We are seeking an efficient and accurate individual to be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves. This role requires speed, precision, and a good understanding of warehouse layout and inventory systems. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or scanner information.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or electric carts, safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by recording picked items and stock movements.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and pick lists.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
- Dedication to workplace Safety.
