Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida! We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the final stages of our order fulfillment process. This role is critical for ensuring that products are accurately documented, packaged, and dispatched to our customers efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Accurately pack, label, and palletize outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight lines) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Verify outgoing orders against pick lists for accuracy.
- Maintain shipping records and update order status in the system.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, supporting the overall logistics workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and online portals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
