Are you a skilled operator looking for a new challenge? We are hiring a Reach Truck Operator for our Boston, Massachusetts distribution center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise in handling heavy loads and navigating tight spaces will be instrumental in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move palletized goods throughout the warehouse.
- Safely stack and retrieve products from high racking systems.
- Perform routine checks on the reach truck to ensure operational readiness and Safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancies.
- Load and unload trailers as needed.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear required PPE, including high-visibility vests and safety footwear.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck is essential.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good spatial awareness and coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
