The role demands physical capability, including the ability to handle frequent lifting and moving of various items. Upholding stringent safety standards is non-negotiable; all associates must consistently adhere to safety protocols and wear the designated PPE. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Store inventory appropriately within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements.
- Carefully pack orders to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Stage outgoing shipments for timely carrier collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all provided PPE correctly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform consistent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe workplace and using PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
