We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position is essential to our daily warehouse operations, focusing on the accurate and timely handling of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and located within the facility. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in frequent lifting and moving of various items. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear the provided PPE at all times. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and has a strong understanding of warehouse logistics. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
