Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications provided via RF scanner or pick list.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages and stage them for outgoing shipments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Wear required PPE at all times, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse by ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow all guidelines for lifting and material handling to ensure personal safety and prevent product damage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and practices.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
