Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent future errors. The Inventory Control Specialist will work with warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process adjustments, and generate reports. Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to data management are essential. This role requires collaboration with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure smooth inventory flow and optimize stock levels. We are committed to maintaining a secure and organized inventory system, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE , is paramount. While this role is less physically demanding than others, some manual Lifting may be required. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics operations by ensuring accurate stock availability. You will be key in identifying trends, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory, ultimately impacting our bottom line. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and data entry into WMS.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data and provide reports to management.
  • Ensure warehouse organization and product identification accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Logistics and Safety standards.
