Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage our operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring peak efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to stringent Safety standards within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of inventory control, and a proven ability to manage a team effectively. Responsibilities include coordinating daily tasks, managing staff schedules, optimizing warehouse workflow, implementing process improvements, and ensuring accurate inventory levels through regular audits. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, enforcing Safety regulations, managing the procurement and distribution of PPE, and liaising with other departments and external vendors. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities and personnel.
  • Manage inventory systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness through regular audits.
  • Oversee the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for warehouse efficiency and space utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices, Safety procedures, and equipment operation.
  • Manage stock levels of necessary supplies, including PPE.
  • Coordinate with logistics and transportation partners for seamless operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all warehouse activities.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse coordination or management.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of Safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional Lifting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
