Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our Minneapolis, Minnesota location. This role is crucial for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse management principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a productive and safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, overseeing the receiving and dispatch of goods, optimizing warehouse layout, and implementing process improvements. You will also be responsible for training new staff, ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations, and managing the use of PPE. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to liaise with other departments and external partners within the logistics network. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and oversee stock rotation.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse organization and efficiency.
  • Train warehouse personnel on procedures, Safety, and equipment operation.
  • Manage the inventory and distribution of PPE.
  • Coordinate with transportation and other departments for seamless logistics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Monitor and improve workflow processes for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with inventory control and Material Handling.
  • Commitment to ensuring the correct use of PPE and promoting a Safety-first culture.
