Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory in appropriate locations.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and put-away.
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, minimizing risks associated with Lifting.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the overall logistics process.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid forklift operator certification and proven experience. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety practices is essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation. Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. Understanding of proper material handling techniques and the importance of PPE.
