Our busy Dallas, Texas distribution center is actively seeking motivated Warehouse Workers to become integral members of our logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility. You will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse duties, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately stocking inventory, efficiently picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. We operate in a fast-paced setting, and your contribution is vital to our success. A thorough understanding and strict adherence to safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and assemble orders according to customer specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all company safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse safety procedures, including the critical role of PPE.
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to team success.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
