Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate order picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to facilitate efficient picking.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Meet or exceed picking accuracy and productivity targets.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Capable of frequent lifting and moving of items up to 40 lbs.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good stamina and physical dexterity.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
