We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our Houston, Texas facility. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general upkeep of the facility. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to efficient material handling and ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, sort, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, tidying, and organizing.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Support the logistics team with various operational tasks as needed.
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory processes is a plus.
