Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the inventory management system.
- Oversee the proper storage, organization, and rotation of inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, within inventory control functions.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control principles, best practices, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects.
