Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications using RF scanners.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of all products.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics for productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety protocols, including PPE usage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
