*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong MSP and technical services background to lead operational delivery across Eventura’s Technical Services and ERP functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role holds accountability for service quality, people leadership and commercial outcomes.
*The Role*
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong technical and MSP background to lead Eventura’s Operations function.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have overall responsibility for operational delivery, service quality, people leadership and financial performance across:
* Technical Services
* ERP Delivery
You will oversee operational delivery across both practices, working closely with the existing Service Desk Manager and supporting the development of clearer ownership, structure and leadership as the business scales.
This role is well suited to someone who has progressed through technical services and MSP operations, understands how service desks and delivery teams operate in practice, and is comfortable leading across multiple disciplines through managers and senior team members.
While ERP exposure is valuable, this is not an ERP programme delivery role. The focus is on operational leadership, governance, performance and scalability across all delivery functions.
*Key Responsibilities*
Operational Leadership
* Own operational delivery across Technical Services and ERP
* Lead and support the Service Desk Manager and delivery teams, introducing appropriate technical and ERP leadership roles as the business scales
* Act as a senior escalation point for key customers and critical incidents
* Define and embed clear operational standards, governance and escalation paths
Service Delivery & Performance
* Ensure Service Desk performance meets agreed SLAs, KPIs and customer expectations
* Oversee ERP delivery governance, quality and SLA performance, ensuring work is prioritised, tracked and reported effectively
* Maintain high standards across security, data integrity and operational controls
* Ensure incidents, escalations and delivery risks are handled professionally and consistently
Commercial & Pre-Sales Support
* Provide operational and technical input into pre-sales activities where required
* Validate delivery scope, resourcing, timelines and delivery risk
* Support delivery efficiency and margin through effective planning and change control
* Support clear and effective handover from sales to delivery
People, Structure & Capability
* Support recruitment, onboarding, development and retention across delivery teams
* Improve role clarity, accountability and progression pathways
* Manage performance, wellbeing and escalation in partnership with HR
Continuous Improvement & Scale
* Drive improvements in delivery frameworks, tooling and automation
* Produce clear operational and financial reporting for senior leadership
* Reduce reliance on the Managing Director for day-to-day operational decisions
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Eventura’s technical and ERP service offerings
*What We’re Looking For*
Essential
* Proven experience in a senior operations or service delivery leadership role
* Strong background in MSP or technical services environments
* Experience leading Service Desk operations through managers or senior team members
* Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple delivery functions simultaneously
* Strong understanding of IT service management and delivery frameworks (e.g. ITIL, Agile)
* Commercial accountability for SLAs, utilisation, margins and delivery performance
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging customers and senior stakeholders
Desirable (but not essential)
* Exposure to ERP delivery environments (e.g. NetSuite, Sage 200 or similar)
* Experience overseeing ERP or systems delivery teams (without being hands-on)
* Experience producing operational and financial reporting for senior leadership or board review
* Relevant certifications (ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile, supplier certifications)
