The Opportunity
Shape the future of urban mobility by leading systems interface and integration for major rail and transit projects. This role places you at the heart of complex infrastructure initiatives—connecting new-build systems with operational networks and third-party elements. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to ensure seamless integration across signaling, communications, traction power, SCADA, rolling stock, and control center infrastructure.

Your Impact
- Define and implement systems integration strategies that ensure compliance, interoperability, and performance across all project stages.
- Lead interface resolution workshops with designers, contractors, and operators to mitigate risks and align deliverables.
- Develop and maintain Interface Definition Documents (IDDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and traceability frameworks.
- Oversee validation and verification processes to confirm integrated systems meet design and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of technical excellence within the Rail & Transit team.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline; P.Eng. designation or eligibility.
- 8+ years in transit or safety-critical industries, with 5+ years in systems engineering and integration.
- Expertise in systems lifecycle management (V-model), interface definition, and testing alignment; familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 and IEEE 1220 standards.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS) and knowledge of CENELEC standards and RAMS processes.
- Ability to navigate complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions for large-scale rail projects.

Compensation:
- BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $114,600 – $151,800
- MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900
- Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 – $137,400
