In this role, I will manage and support the efficient operation of the Sales department with a dedicated focus on the Swiss MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) market, delivering exceptional products and services in line with Six Senses brand standards, wellness philosophy, sustainability commitments and approved budgets.

Working closely with the Director of Sales, I will contribute to the development of cohesive, market-specific and results-driven sales strategies for the Swiss MICE segment. I will ensure overall consistency with the Company's vision, quality standards and brand identity, while positioning the property as a leading luxury wellness destination for meetings and incentive travel from Switzerland.

My duties and responsibilities will include:

• Support the Director of Sales in planning, executing and monitoring sales strategies for the Swiss MICE market, including corporate clients, incentive houses, event agencies.

• Manage and support the efficient daily operation of the Sales department with a strong focus on MICE production from Switzerland.

• Complete all required departmental reports as guided by the Director of Sales, including MICE production, pipeline tracking and market performance analysis.

• Develop, adapt and coordinate MICE-focused promotional materials, proposals and presentations for the Swiss market in collaboration with the Marketing team.

• Conduct site inspections, familiarization trips and property tours for Swiss MICE clients, event agencies, DMCs.

• Organize, coordinate and participate in sales calls, roadshows, trade fairs and networking events relevant to the Swiss MICE market.

• Represent the property in the Swiss market in alignment with Six Senses brand values, wellness positioning and sustainability commitments.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Swiss MICE landscape, including key accounts, buyer behavior, seasonality, sustainability expectations and wellness-driven event trends.

• Drive the right MICE business at the right price to achieve budgeted occupancy, ADR and total revenue, in line with guidance from the Director of Sales.

• MICE Budget responsibility, Network of Swiss and International Corporates, Agencies and DMC

• Support the development, negotiation, contracting and follow-up of MICE agreements, ensuring compliance with brand standards and commercial objectives.

• Upsell and cross-sell all resort facilities, wellness experiences and activities relevant to meetings, incentives and group events.

• Support the implementation of the sales and marketing plan for the Swiss MICE segment, monitoring performance against targets by account, segment and period.

• Liaise closely with internal departments including Events, Reservations, Revenue, Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure seamless communication and flawless delivery of MICE programs.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all property facilities and services, including meeting spaces, group accommodation, room categories, layouts, capacities, rates, packages, credit policies and reservation systems.

• Review and support services, products and rates to ensure ongoing relevance and competitiveness within the Swiss MICE market.

• Continuously assess and review sales processes to ensure innovation, efficiency and alignment with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

• Maintain accurate documentation, databases, contractual records, reporting systems and client correspondence related to Swiss MICE accounts.

• Operate office equipment and systems including CRM platforms, spreadsheets, word processing and database management tools.

• File and manage all sales correspondence and documentation in accordance with company procedures and data protection regulations.

• Support budget control under the supervision of the Director of Sales, ensuring cost awareness while protecting brand standards and service excellence.

• Focus consistently on revenue generation and profile building for the property and the Six Senses brand within the Swiss MICE market.

• Ensure ethical conduct, transparency and full compliance with local laws, brand policies and corporate governance standards.

• Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of guests, partners and clients, applying strict data protection measures when handling sensitive information.

• Ensure all departmental equipment is kept clean, organized and in good working condition.

• Attend and actively contribute to designated sales meetings, briefings and commercial reviews as instructed by the Director of Sales and EAM Commercial.

• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene in line with brand and statutory requirements.

• Maintain full knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures related to the position.

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of and strict adherence to LQA standards.

• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Director of Sales that support the Swiss MICE strategy and overall commercial objectives.

To execute the position of Sales Assistant Manager, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum of a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and more than one year's experience in a sales role in travel, hospitality or luxury goods background.

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS, GDS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms.

I have client management experience. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English & French with some knowledge of the local language and customs.
