We are hiring Material Handlers for our bustling warehouse facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the physical movement and organization of goods throughout the warehouse. This includes receiving, stocking, order filling, and preparing materials for shipment. Your role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Conduct regular inventory checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety protocols.
- Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Involves frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling position is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the shift. Knowledge of warehouse Logistics and safety procedures is a plus. Team-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
