Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in Portland, Oregon! We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our logistics operations, including receiving, processing, and shipping goods. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, identify, and unload incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily operational goals are met.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to following all safety guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
