We are recruiting a dedicated Material Handler for our facility in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be essential to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, responsible for moving, organizing, and storing materials. Your efforts will directly support our logistics operations by ensuring materials are correctly placed, easily accessible, and handled with utmost care. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and accuracy in all material handling tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and identify incoming materials and products.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse as directed.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through careful handling.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely, preventing damage or loss.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
