This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, verifying order details, carefully packing products, and preparing them for the shipping department. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists and ensure correctness of product and quantity.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, using designated materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures.
