Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our Kansas City, Missouri facility. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and organizing materials within our warehouse. This role demands precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. You'll operate various types of forklifts to ensure the smooth flow of inventory, supporting both inbound and outbound operations. We emphasize a safe work environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If you have experience operating forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack products.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any defects or needed repairs.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to Safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
- Ensure efficient material handling to support timely deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with certification preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to job performance.
