In this role, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and preparing materials for distribution. You will work with a variety of materials and equipment, ensuring that everything is handled correctly and efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting the smooth operation of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and effectively.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Assist with Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting and moving of materials, up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and practices.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
