We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and recorded into our inventory system. You will be the first point of contact for deliveries, verifying contents, noting discrepancies, and ensuring the safe unloading of materials. A strong commitment to accuracy, Safety, and efficient logistics processes is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, unload materials, and verify quantities against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues immediately.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Tag and organize received products for proper storage.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and internal departments.
- Ensure the receiving area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking as needed to support logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or inventory control preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety standards and procedures.
