In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in handling heavy loads safely and efficiently is paramount. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely flow of goods. - Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with precision.
- Stack and stage inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage to goods and equipment.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs when handling goods that are not yet palletized.
