Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order manifests or scanning devices.
- Package products appropriately for safe transit.
- Stage orders for loading and shipment, ensuring order integrity.
- Operate manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and carts.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
- This role requires consistent movement and may involve lifting of items.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists or digital order information.
- Good organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is helpful.
