We are seeking dynamic Picker/Packers to join our vibrant logistics operations in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for timely shipment. You will navigate our warehouse, identify specific products, and meticulously package them according to company standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on order sheets or RF scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies, ensuring quality.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the use of required PPE, and participate in safety training.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring all orders are processed correctly and on time.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all guidelines regarding lifting and material handling to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
