Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from specified locations within the warehouse.
- Inspect items for accuracy and quality before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Comply with all company safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet team performance objectives.
- Report any stock discrepancies or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or fulfillment role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including frequent lifting and prolonged standing.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
