Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and warehouse management? We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and Safety. You will manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates, delegate tasks, and ensure all operational goals are met. Responsibilities include inventory management, coordinating shipments, optimizing workflow, and enforcing all Safety protocols. Your leadership will directly impact the productivity and success of our logistics hub. We seek individuals with a proven track record in supervisory roles within warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize productivity.
- Maintain a high standard of Safety and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse team members.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments and deliveries.
- Implement and enforce company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems and WMS software.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Proficiency in using various warehouse equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
