We are seeking motivated and reliable Order Pickers to join our dynamic logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to pick lists, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to operate manual pallet jacks and utilize scanning equipment to manage inventory and track order progress. Strong attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be committed to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked.
- Package items appropriately for shipping, if required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and instructions.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Requires consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
