We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our **Logistics** operations in Portland, Oregon. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are received accurately, inspected thoroughly, and documented properly. Your attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse. This position requires adherence to strict **Safety** guidelines and proper use of **PPE**. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying packing slips against received goods, and reporting any discrepancies. The ability to perform moderate **Lifting** is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings.
- Accurately record received inventory in the warehouse management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away by appropriate teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to **Safety** standards.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed, following all **Safety** protocols.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times during operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Understanding of warehouse **Safety** procedures and the importance of **PPE**.
