Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory efficiently.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, meeting quality standards.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and proficiently.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
- Strictly follow all established safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and safe.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational goals.
- Undertake other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a distribution center or warehouse is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle demanding physical tasks, including repeated lifting of up to 55 lbs.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (forklifts) is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Must be willing to wear and properly use all required PPE, such as steel-toed footwear.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics principles and inventory control.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if needed.
