Job Description
An established and growing business within the industrial sector is seeking a Sales Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a varied sales role combining new business development and account management, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships while actively developing new opportunities. You will work in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, organisation, and a consultative sales approach are key.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
Proactively contact existing customers and new prospects
Use a consultative, fact-finding approach to recommend suitable products
Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order and delivery
Maintain and update the CRM system accurately
Effectively manage and develop your sales pipeline
Handle incoming customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently
Build strong working relationships internally and externally
Develop product knowledge to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Identify potential markets and new business opportunities
Key Skills
Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers by phone and in person
Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
Self‑motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Full UK driving licence and own transport
Willingness to travel occasionally and attend trade events
Able to commute to Heysham, Lancashire
