We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in our facility. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and physiological evaluations
* Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and protocols
* Perform venipuncture and IV insertions with precision and adherence to safety standards
* Document all patient interactions and treatments thoroughly within EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
* Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration or emergency situations
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions
* Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
* Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and updates in nursing practices to provide evidence-based care
*Experience*
* Background in Geriatrics facilities
* Experience working with infectious disease care, Geriatrics, or post-acute/sub-acute care environments is advantageous
* Demonstrated competency in basic life support (BLS), medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation
* Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology essential for accurate patient assessment
* Experience administering injections, performing venipuncture, and managing complex patient cases across inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred
* Candidates should possess a valid nursing license (RN or LPN), current Basic Life Support certification, and a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. Prior experience in diverse clinical settings enhances the ability to adapt quickly to varying patient needs.
*Educational Requirements:* Candidate Must be certified in the state of Nebraska as a RN/LPN. The competitive pay range for this position is *RN: $35.00 - $40.00/hr. And LPN: $26.00-$27.00/ hr.* Consideration will be made commensurate with experience.
